Test Responsibilities:

Day-to-day contribution to the running and maintenance of the MSCM test department and associated machinery.
Understanding of route cards and procedures to follow and apply correct test application as per business requirements.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Assist with the performance of testing to the standard required by Company process / client requirements.
Coupling build including test and flushing of each component.
Undertaking patch sampling and analysis.
Part marking of components.
Interfacing of parts with applied pressure.
Ensuring all parts undertake required test in safe manner adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Operate test bay equipment to run tests under ‘required’ test conditions and parameters.
Complete internal paperwork with accuracy.
Use all machinery and equipment safely and respectfully, reporting any defects.

Assembly Responsibilities:

Assembly of various MSCM products in accordance to drawing, company process and customer requirements.
Day-to-day contribution to the running and maintenance of the MSCM assembly department and associated tools and machinery.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Completion of assembly paperwork without error.
Conduct all assembly work with due care and attention.

Client Interaction:

Participate in client / inspector visits in line with project requirement of testing under witness.

Quality Assurance:

Adhere to Company procedures.
Design to British and ISO Standards.

Produces machined parts by reading and interpreting technical blueprints, programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Main Responsibilities: 

Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform required task.
Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
Design and set up correct tooling layouts.
Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate required number of parts.
Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly and if required quality standards are met.
Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
Inform Machine Shop Supervisor if there is a fault or issue with a machine, highlighting possible repair request.
Adhering to and following process within company to ensure workflow is followed, keeping required logs and records.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
